The Taoiseach launched two significant documents for the Irish public service in Farmleigh House on 11 July 2005: Reaching Out, a set of consultation guidelines for Public Sector Bodies, and a Report on the Introduction of Regulatory Impact Analysis across the Irish Civil Service. The publication of these documents represents important milestones in the delivery of commitments made by the Government in January 2004 in the White Paper, Regulating Better.
The documents were launched at an event in Farmleigh House attended by senior officials, Social Partners, regulatory agencies and other interested parties. Speakers at the launch included Turlough O’Sullivan, Director General of IBEC, and David Begg, General Secretary of ICTU.
